On November 8th, Georgetown and NC State played to a final score of 6-3.  It was determined that the Georgetown goalie used pads that had not been certified as compliant with the current ACHA and ACCHL rule governing equipment.  This led to Georgetown’s forfeiture of the game.  The ACCHL Bylaws require two points to be awarded to the winning team in a forfeit and one point deducted from the losing team.  For league standings, Georgetown will have one point deducted from their total.  This adjustment will affect Georgetown’s position in the end of season standings and their seeding in the ACCHL Annual Tournament to be held in Roanoke, VA.
