ACCHL Championship Tournament

ACCHL 2011 Championship Tournament

North Carolina is hosting the 2011 Championship Tournament February 18-20.  Games will be at Triangle Sportsplex.

End Of Season Tournament Ticket Prices are as follows:

Weekend Passes $25.00 each for entire weekend
Adults $5.00 a game
Students $2.00 a game with student ID (without ID $5.00 a game)
Children 12 and Under Free (with a team Jersey) without a Jersey $5.00 a game

Schedule:

  • 2/18/11 – Games at 5:00 PM, 7:30 PM and 10:00 PM
  • 2/19/11 – Games at 9:00 AM, 4:15 PM, and 7:00 PM
  • 2/20/11 – Games at 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM

Online Broadcasts

North Carolina will be broadcasting some of the tournament games online.  The games that will be broadcast are:

  • Friday 2/18 at 10PM – Georgetown vs Virginia
  • Saturday 2/19 at 9AM – Teams to be announced
  • Sunday 2/20 8:30AM – Bronze medal game
  • Sunday 2/20 11AM – Championship

2011 ACCHL Tournament at UNC

North Carolina is hosting the 2011 ACCHL Championship Tournament.

Dates:  February 18-20, 2011

Location:  Triangle Sportsplex

2011 Championship Tournament

The 2011 ACC Hockey League Championship Tournament will be hosted by the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill on February 18-20, 2011. UNC is actively working on finalizing details of the tournament. We will post more information on the tournament as details become available.

Virginia Tech beats Duke

The Blue Devils kept the game close in a hard fought game against the ACC’s regular season champion.  Late in the game, Tech pulled ahead, scoring an empty net goal to extend their margin of victory. 

Virginia Tech earns the ACC Hockey League Gold Medal, with Duke taking home the Silver.

UNC beats Georgetown

The Tarheels scored on their first four power play opportunities on their way to a victory over the Hoyas in the ACC Hockey League Bronze Medal game.

Virginia Tech moves on to meet Duke in the finals on Sunday at 2PM.  Duke is the only team to beat the Hokies this season, winning 2-1 in a shootout. 

North Carolina faces last year’s champion, Georgetown, in the Bronze Medal game on Sunday at 11AM.

Duke advances to the finals to face the winner of the Virginia Tech and North Carolina game.  The final will be played on Sunday at 2PM.

Georgetown will play the loser of the Virginia Tech and North Carolina game in the Bronze Medal game on Sunday at 11AM.
